This piece shows a scene from a bank heist of my original characters, the Cantu Bandits. I wanted to convey the family robbing a bank in the wild west by having the environment design be heavily inspired by old western banks, from the wood carving designs to the color palette of greens, browns, and oranges found within the environment. I also wanted the personalities of the characters to be heavily shown, the youngest sister being hot-headed and wanting to go straight into the fight to the grandparents taking charge and being calm and collective. The perspective of the piece gives the sense that you, as an individual, are standing within the bank and watching all of this mayhem unfold.
