This creature was inspired by my own personal bichon Frise dog, Chicharron. I wanted to reshape my dog into a more terrifying view, as if he were a demon, by incorporating terrifying aspects to this character, such as the giant mouth, bone spikes being found through the body, the exposed ribcage, and the firetail. Though with these terrifying details, I wanted the creature to still be somewhat cute and silly by having the silly facial expression and the extremely puffy hair found on Bichon Frise. This creature is meant to be a companion through a main character's travels and is extremely loving and sweet but at the same time very protective.
