Treasure Port

Treasure Port is a retelling of Treasure Island. Though my story will be taking place around the same time period, the 1830s, it will have a gothic/horror twist to the story. With the local town being infected with a plague, the protagonist Jim must travel with a suspicious woman, Silvia, and her crew and go on an adventure to find a secret treasure owned by the head porting family that brought the sickness to the town in hopes of helping his sick family. He must travel to a local abandoned port town, where everyone disappeared after they themselves were infected with the plague. During the adventure he will find many monsters within the town and a lone sort of sane survivor named Ben who will help them.
