Quetzalcóatl Golden Temple

This environment piece was meant to create a golden temple to praise the Mesoamerican god Quetzalcóatl, which is a feature serpent. I wanted this piece to create a mysterious atmosphere, as if you were traveling through the jungle lost and found this abandoned temple. To create a mysterious atmosphere, the mouth of the temple is glowing to create an alluring energy, as if wanting for you to come in to escape from the rain of the thunderstorm. As well as creating a view from the temple to see somewhat abandoned by having vines growing around the temple. As well, I wanted to create the surrounding jungle to look like South American environments by having rivers found in the piece and having similar plants found in this area.
