Halloween Home

This piece was created with the inspiration of one of my favorite holidays, Halloween. wanting it to represent the home of a Halloween enthusiast. I created this piece wanting to have a mixture of elements from Halloween decorations, classic horror characters, and items found in a witch's home. As well, wanting to incorporate the imagery of a Victorian home with the wood flooring and vintage furniture. I wanted this house to represent a person who does not only decorate their home like this for the weeks of Halloween but has it decorated this way throughout the whole year. This piece allowed me to practice the usage of a station line grid as well as blocking in the furniture pieces throughout the whole piece. I loved how the elements of Halloween enthusiasm but vintage care flowed through this piece.
